The boys arrived today at 3pm. Joe fell asleep on the way to the hotel, Jaxon kept telling the driver he had never been to Russia before and Brett said he wanted to go home because he thought potato pancakes sounded awful. He agreed to stay but he is only eating apples while he is here. Lol
lol. Oh if only the potato pancakes were the worst part about Russia?! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised Marvelous didn't send him with a box a of Krispy Kreames to get him by.:)

ReplyDeleteWhat is wrong with that guy?? Potato pancakes are the BOMB...put a little sour cream on there and it's like fried baked potato. It basically is like a hash brown. The blinchikis are tasty too - though I did have some that were dry...but usually they are good.
ReplyDeleteMy personal rule of thumb is that when traveling abroad, as long as the food is cooked, you should try it. I mean unless you are talking about raw shrimp in Bangkok, it's probably safe and at least you will have the experience. Even wierd sounding food is usually better than you would expect from the name. ANd most of the food in Russia isn't really THAT strange. Although I did get a surprise at a breakfast buffet when I mistook some kind of liver dish for beef stroganoff...which would have been an odd thing for breakfast...but let me tell you LIVER was beyond odd, and right into nasty.
Yay! The Dechants take over Russia! Can't wait to hear about the first meeting!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are having fun. Can't wait till you get home. Love MOM*
ReplyDeleteSo how did the boys do on the flight over?
ReplyDeleteWhat's up??? This was posted on the 16th; it's the 18th already and no more posts???? For shame. I want to hear more about the boys in Russia. When do the boys meet her?
